SOFT WILD

Concept: Moss & The Guadagnino Aesthetic

Inspired by the lush, organic presence of moss, this collection translates the plant's stillness and irregular growth into a home furnishing suite for filmmaker Luca Guadagnino. The design language navigates the tension between Guadagnino’s highly curated, architectural interiors and the spontaneous, tactile textures of the natural world. By utilizing a moss-inspired palette of hand-dyed greens, the collection bridges the gap between structured elegance and the soft, "unruly" beauty of nature, creating pieces that feel like a living extension of a personal sanctuary.

Craft & Material Exploration

The collection was realized through diverse textile and structural techniques, prioritizing sensory depth. Key pieces include linen cushion covers and a color-blocked curtain, where geometric deconstruction meets organic velvet layering to mimic mossy spreads. A cuboid plywood lamp features layered sheer fabrics to create translucent depth, while a table runner utilizes bundle-steaming with real foliage to achieve natural impressions. Central to the tactile experience was the rigorous selection of hand-dyed yarn, specifically chosen and color-matched to replicate the unique, undulating "pile" of moss within a handwoven rug. Through natural dyeing, hand-stitching, and material layering, the final outputs demonstrate a user-centered harmony between rigid form and soft, botanical spontaneity.
